  I'm all for for using the proper verbage when necessary. So we should call republicans fascists. Let's drop the pretense. We should also call many of them racists or biggots. No need to dance around the topic anymore. Plutocrats, oligarchs, elitists, the list goes on.

      Emberto Echo has a great definition of FAscism in one of his books. He lists traits like:
      
      -longing for the good'ol days
      -excessive patriotism and nationalism
      -fear of other cultures

    I agree with this. I'm always hesitant to use nazi comparisions or to call people fascists, but in this case, it is simply true. Fox News is like the realization of one of Herman Goering's fantasies. They are an organization that is almost purely devoted to spreading propaganda, and they have managed to legitimize themselves. Goering would wet his pants. My new philosophy is if you don't want to be called a fascist or be compared to nazis, then stop acting like them.

      Murderer is a noun, a noun that identifies somebody who committed an action. Illegal is an adjective. Somebody who killed is called a killer or a murderer. Somebody who enters a country illegally is called illegal immigrant, undocumented immigrant (legal term) or unauthorized immigrant. Illegal has as much legal value as referring to African Americans as n...s.

I would guess, however, that Cal Thomas is quite comfortable with terms like "pioneer" "pilgrim" and "explorer," in spite of the fact that they were indeed occupiers, invaders, trespassers and squatters who eradicated the native population of the land!   I realize there's a strong desire in America to be PC about everything, but if someone immigrates illegally, then they are by definition an illegal immigrant. It's not an ethnic slur to use a legally accurate term. And this is coming from a hispanic person who supports liberalizing America's immigration laws.
