        I'm also... totally lost.

If I pieced that together correctly, I get something about 'ex-drug' addicts driving a car with Obama tied to the roof snorting cocaine while animal rights activists are watching in disgust. I hope not, since that would be 12 out of 10 on a scale of unimaginably racist. On multiple levels.

PLEASE tell me that's not what I'm supposed to take from this.

Talk a big ol' swing and a miss. I know what you mean, WK, just like the regular wingnuts here who attempt analogies, it almost brings tears to my eyes.

It's like watching a feral child trying to use a knife and fork for the first time, you're pulling for them, saying to yourself " Come on, you can do it!", but it always ends up a mess.

Huh? How about who-what? Did Obama carry an ex-addict on his car? And how do you become an ex-addict anyway? Once an addict, always an addict.

An active drunk is way better to reason with than a dry drunk.

Believe me, I've done the research.

you go to the Bachman Clinic and Marcus Bachman makes you a former addict just like he turns gays into former gays.

It can't be said enough. Maybe some lefty organization could start some sort of remedial night school for right wingers, teaching analogies, logic, humor, other concepts that are so difficult for the binary brain.

Of course, the GOP machine would try to shut it down as an indoctrination camp. They know that people exercising their brain muscles with all of those abstract concepts would result in too many ex-Republicans.

How about a story about apples when we're talking about oranges? Obama has admitted past drug use and I'm pretty sure he said he regrets it. Mitt on the other hand said his dog enjoyed the ride. Personally I don't think doing something stupid, dangerous and possible cruel 25 years ago has a whole lot of bearing on this election. But if Simple Sarah wants to make an issue of the President admitting mistakes here's an example of him doing so. And along with it a complementary example of his likely opponent not admitting a mistake. Actually has Mitt ever admitted a mistake?

Wouldn't Obama be part of that group of "ex drug-addicts?"

Therefore, your hypothetical "ex drug addicts" would be very hypocritical.
