Is this the deadline for Glen Beck to get some advertisers? A lot of back to school related ads sold then

Yea, Glenn...Obama is planning on banning public demonstrations at this very moment.

Glenn, do you get a tingle in your gonads every time you say something dishonest like this, knowing that a bunch of poor, gullible goobers believe you? I hope your kids hate you, Glenn...you deserve it.

Everything Glenn Beck does is to benefit one person only: Glenn Beck.

His entire national martyr/teacher/civics expert act is a fraud, as is everything the man does. Beck is exactly right in once calling himself a "rodeo clown," as he cannot be taken remotely seriously by anyone with a brain.

As such, it would be nice if Beck staged his 8/28 rally, and nobody showed up. But I'm not expecting that to happen. His followers are just too dumb.

Well, you'd better hope you still have your platform on Fox to push this thing, Beck. Your ratings have been pretty dismal for the past few days. Bret Baier kicked your butt on Tuesday. Even Shep had more viewers than you did. You lost a new advertiser, Purity Products, last week, and your program has been showing on Sky News in the UK for four months with NO commercial advertisers at all. Your worth was based on your ratings . . . ratings sliding, no advertisers, craziness increasing . . . how much longer do you think they're going to let you show your craziness, Beck?

Eventually, the Sham-Wow guy will have better rating than Becky.

Is he on any medication? You can almost play 'spot the disorder' in every one of his speeches.

One of my favorite episodes of the TV Series MASH, is Twelve O'Clock Charlie. Daily, Hawk-eye and Trapper set themselves up on lawn chairs, with martinis, fly-swatter swagger stick, etc. to watch the incompetent North Korean pilot miss the targe and Frank go nuts. It would be great to set up a similar irreverent scene across the street from Beck's 8/28 spectacle.

O.K August 28 2010, I'm waiting and expecting for something to happen, something that'll be on the news, now being in Ireland I'll switch over to Sky News (English channel) as usually any ground breaking moments in America gets at least some coverage.

Of course nothing will happen, a few thousand people will show up with signs saying "I want my country back" and "thanks Glenn Beck" and then nothing will happen, people will argue over the numbers that were there, and Beck will begin to declare, Huly 4 2011, the 7/4 Rally will be bigger than anything ever seen, back by the Vatican etc.

And English-speaking cultures will retire the word "incredible" due to overuse.

That would be fun. Set up a tent with lawn chairs and a cooler full of beer and watch the Troglodytes.

Okay, you guys do that, save four beers for my family. We plan to circle around the event and take pictures in pairs (safety in numbers). I plan on wearing SEIU purple, and I will be carrying my own personal copy of the Constitution (signed by Sandra Day O'Connor.) You'll get to see the pictures before they're posting. Magnolia Lover is also planning on going, he might enjoy a beer, too.

I love that episode. I think we should all meet in bathrobes, fly-swatters and martinis in our lawnchairs at the event. That would be great.

I forgot about the bathrobes. And how about holding up score cards as people go by: 8.7 for outragousness, 4.2 for originality.

Hmmmm. The Lincoln Memorial. They started building it in 1914.

And just who was the President in 1914?

      WILSON!

Glenn! Glenn! You're falling into a Progressive Trap!

And when the workers building the Lincoln memorial took a break, they played basketball.

And who made the basketball they used?

        WILSON!!!!!

Undoubtedly. He is a shameless self-promoter who just wants to stay in the headlines. Hopefully, the press (besides FAUX, of course) will just ignore this idiot-parade.

"going to be one for the history books"

Agreed. It is the opening of the fifth seal on the road to Armageddon. The fifth seal is the vision of martrys and martrydom. This is obviously true since the four horseman - Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity, and Beck - have already appeared.

Now the morons on FOX & Friends can claim:

Some people are saying that Glenn Beck's 8/28 rally is going to be one for the history books.

I wish I was being facetious...

It's gonna be a glorified book signing for his "action steps" "book" The Plan. I hope the statue of Honest Abe comes to life and hocks a massive stone loogie on Ol' Shilly McShillington and his Beck-heads.
