Nahhhhhh - I heard it was going to increase TO 70% for those making less than 10K, 69% for those making less than 20K, 68% for those making less than 30K, 67% for those making less than 40K, basically decreasing a point per 10K until you hit 80K, and then it goes down to 3%, then 2% for 90K, 1% for 100K, and if you make 100K or more then your tax load goes to 0%. And those aren't potato guns, they are airsoft.

        As much as I hate the man, I have to believe that he probably worked pretty hard to get to hate radio super stardom, especially at the start of his program. Knowing some folks who were working in radio, it ain't easy getting to where Rush is. I have to grudgingly admire that he's worked that hard to get to making $40 million per year on the radio is what he gets paid these days.

        Other than that though, he's a total and utter moran and nincompoop.

      No, it's true. Rush is correct, as usual.

      I saw the president in Chicago a few weeks ago. His motorcade would pull over whenever it passed a white, working-class family, and President Obama would step out of the presidential limousine and push them all into the dirt or nearest trash can.

      Since you feel this way Rush, might I suggest you take the appropriate steps to surround yourself with like-minded people. Sell your compound, move yoursef, your belongings and wife #4 up to the backwoods of Idaho. There is a group up there that believes precisely as you do, and surely would welcome you with open arms. Hell, they might even make you their leader. You could spend the rest of your days goose-stepping through the forest with your new buddies, and would never have to worry about anyone disagreeing with you.

        1) The majority of Americans are unemployed
        2) The unemployed are all minorities

        Which of course flies completely in the face of our real demographics.

      Rusty, even if I hadn't voted for President Obama, I would still refuse to swallow this bilge. Barack Obama is a politician, first and foremost, he's very good at it, too. Politicians, as "Hunt for Red October" says, always keep their options open. No capable politician will turn aside a huge percentage of the population in order to embrace a much smaller segment of the electorate just because they have something like religion, ethnicity, race, or gender in common. You might go out of the way to appeal to your own group, but you won't shun that majority group if you want to win. President Obama likes to win.

      Meanwhile; Lushbo's party only attracted 2% black voters in Michigan and 0% in Arizona. Add that to the Latinos and Muslims who failed to turn out and it's pretty clear that the GOP, led by people like Lushbo, has managed to alienate everyone but the basest of their base.

          They must be. While I agree with shaggles post below about the amount of power or lack of, to actually effect elections. I do believe he has enough power/influence to tarnish/marginalize the political party he's part of. I am no political scientist, but I truly believe if the republican party continues on it's current path. They are going to die off, and they will have noone to blame but themselves.
